Bio

Tana Hayes grew up in Ventura, California and graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Landscape Architecture with inter-class honors. While in the College of Art and Design she developed many of her artistic talents, which she refines today. She not only renders and draws professionally, paints on canvas in her free time, but has fallen for the art of picture taking. She has taken her camera while traveling the world studying architecture and people in Europe and abroad during and after college.

Tana appreciates and feels blessed to have traveled to many countries with her husband Sean Hayes, an accomplished designer and professional athlete. Sean graduated with a visual arts and communications degree from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), and has also maintained a successful career as a professional surfer and a business owner. This road less traveled has allowed he and Tana to venture to remote places such as South Africa, India, Australia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. These places have inspired Tana to capture the beauty and local native life with a stylized journalistic approach to photography. This art of freezing time, with a trained artists eye, has become more than just a love for her; it is now a lifestyle.
